Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Technology Awards
Udutu has won a Bronze award in the 2009 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Technology Awards in the Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses category.
2010 VIATeC Technology Awards - Product of the Year
Udutu has been selected as a finalist for a VIATeC Technology Awards in the Product of the Year category. The Product of the Year category recognizes a company that has achieved success in the commercialization of an innovative technology product (e.g market acceptance and sales). Nominated companies are required to provide number of products sold and sales revenue for the nominated product for the last three years.
2009 VIATeC Technology Awards - Online Strategy of the Year
Recognizes the best online strategy implemented by or for a Greater Victoria organisation. Nominated companies are required to provide a letter of support clearly explaining their strategy and milestones. The judges will consider creative usability, innovative design, and results achieved from the underlying strategy.
Red Herring Canada Top 50 2008 - Winner
Udutu is pleased to announce that we have been selected as a winner in the Red Herring Canada Top 50 for 2008. The nominees are rigidly evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration into their ecosystem.

Only Canadian finalist in the 2001
CEDARlearning was the only Canadian finalist in the 2001 Stockholm Challenge in the Education sector. There were 742 nominations for this Challenge, from 90 countries. They are now reduced to 100 finalists across seven sector's. The jury base their evaluation on these criteria: Innovation, User Need, Sustainability, Transferability.

As Royal Roads University 's innovation department CEDARlearning was actively engaged in research and development of pedagogical and technological solutions, as well as monitoring and evaluating external developments, tools, strategies and pedagogies. The three person development team developed personalized, interactive, multimedia courseware for deployment over the Web.

This data-driven course was offered to MBA students at Royal Roads University . CEDARlearning used Macromedia Generator and Flash to address the differences in learning style and prior knowledge through the dynamic delivery of the course content.

Microsoft® Exchange Server 2000 takes distance learning further
The Applied Research unit at Royal Roads University of Victoria, B.C., sought to develop an improved electronic distance learning environment for a growing number students engaged in online masters degree programs. The solution is built on the Microsoft platform: Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 provides a secure and robust platform for collaborative exercises, calendaring, and communications. Students are able to work at their own pace and access course material anywhere and at anytime. They can collaborate with other students in real-time to complete assignments, share ideas and strategies, debate issues as a team, and liaise with professors as needed.
VIATec eLearning Web Site of the Year - Finalist
VIATec recognizes Web sites designed specifically for online learning. Judges considered congruency of concept, logical flow and progression, usability, navigation, the uniqueness of the learning environment and how the online delivery has improved the process.
